Life skills are defined as psychosocial abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enable children and young people to deal effectively with the challenges and demands of everyday life. It is key for young people within the looked after system to develop skills, opportunities, and gather information to help them live independently. The Social Care Training Hub have developed a programme which can be run over six sessions, dependent on the agency and young person’s need.
