This training is designed to enable learners to develop tools and techniques for Solution-Focused Working/Intervention with children and young people.
The course provides delegates with the opportunity to learn what Solution-Focused Working is and how it can be utilised to provide therapeutic care and intervention to vulnerable children and young people. The course will utilise knowledge and learning from Solution-Focused Therapy Models to provide delegates with a working understanding of the benefits of a Solution-Focussed Approach.
The course will provide delegates with an understanding of how traditional care and counselling methods often focus on ‘the problem’ and how this can serve to disable and inhibit children and young people from developing behaviours that can help them overcome adverse symptoms of trauma.
